Hats, Bugs and Giggles.

This little guy is the youngest in one of my favorite little families. He always greets me with a smile and usually a high-five. Today, I'm not sure he was so happy to see me. I learned that two year olds really do have a mind of their own! So, to all my one year olds from this year, let's just stay one, okay? :) It was much easier when you weren't so darned fast!

Anyway, I was so happy with the images we got, and you'd never know how "less-than-thrilled" he was to participate. ;)

1) Can we say LITTLE MAN?? I love his stance here.

2) Thanks for the teamwork on the hats, Mom and Dad! :) Good thing we are fast, huh?
And in case you were wondering, yep.... that's a bug in his hand. eww.
3) He's just so 'all boy'... you can never tell what he's going to do next...
4) For instance... like in this image. He was like a kid in a candy store when he discovered the bugs on this porch. It was a bit tough to pull him away. Love the curiosity!5) His eyes are so striking to me.
6) Wait! Is that a grin?

7) And that's a full blown belly laugh. Thanks for that, Dad! :)
As always, thank you for a fun session. I'll be in touch after we return next week.

He is as sweet as can be...and as usual, you captured it all perfectly. :)

Ah, Joni...my hubby does know (to a certain extent) about my piano dreams, but he doesn't quite "get" it. He is basically tone-deaf himself (literally), so I don't think he gets the whole joy of creating music, you know? But someday, girl, someday. :)
